Child Therapy Cumbria

With Sarah Fairweather

Assess
You and your child will be invited to attend a assessment session where we can understand the issues being experienced.

Relate
It is important to build trust and a working relationship that enables us to set goals and move forward with therapy.

Progress
By empowering your child with the tools to self-help through their issues, we can help progress them into a happy adolescence and adulthood.

What to expect from child and young adult therapy
My service is tailored to your circumstance, child’s age and individual needs, but normally sessions are weekly. Consultations are held at my comfortable and friendly practice in Kendal.  Each session lasts 45 to 50 minutes. Within each session we will review your child’s progress, develop new skills to deal with issues, and discuss home practice techniques.

It’s about your child
The aim of our sessions is to empower your child with the life skills they can take into later life.  These tools will help your child manage their issues, as well as providing a boost to confidence and self esteem. “I will help your child to become self-regulated, which will enable them to lead a more stress free childhood.
